CBSE Class XII Results: Pass Rate Reaches 87.98%, Female Students Excel

National Desk, 13th May: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the much-awaited results for Class XII, revealing an encouraging pass rate of 87.98 percent for students who appeared in the board examinations. This signifies a notable increase of 0.65 percent in the passing percentage compared to the previous year.

One of the standout highlights of this year’s results is the remarkable performance of female students, who have surpassed their male counterparts by an impressive margin of 6.40 percent points. An astounding over 91 percent of girls who undertook the exams emerged triumphant.

The results also showcase outstanding academic achievements, with over 24,000 candidates securing scores above 95 percent and more than 1.16 lakh students achieving scores above 90 percent. Furthermore, while over 1.22 lakh students find themselves in the compartment category, there has been a marginal decrease in comparison to the previous year.
