CBSE Takes Action: Sai RNS Academy Disaffiliated, Sreeram Academy Downgraded
Guwahati, 23rd March: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken stringent action against schools found violating affiliation norms during surprise inspections, leading to the disaffiliation of Sai RNS Academy in Dispur, Guwahati.
In addition to Sai RNS Academy, Sreeram Academy in Barpeta, Assam, was among three schools downgraded during the nationwide inspection conducted by CBSE officials.
The surprise inspections aimed to ensure compliance with Affiliation and Examination Bye-laws, uncovering various malpractices such as dummy student presentations, admission of ineligible candidates, and improper record-keeping in some schools.
In response to these findings, CBSE issued an official notification detailing the actions taken against erring institutions. The disaffiliation of Sai RNS Academy in Dispur, Guwahati, Assam, was one of the measures implemented by CBSE to uphold the integrity of educational standards and affiliation norms.
