Central Government: 14 Messenger Apps Banned in India

Guwahati: There are 14 messenger apps banned in India. The central government has taken important decisions. Again, the central government has taken a tough decision.

The central government has banned 14 messenger apps operating from Pakistan. The decision was taken by the central government on the advice of security and intelligence agencies.

This includes be chat. The Union IT ministry has taken this decision based on information received from the intelligence bureau. The Indian government has said that these apps pose a threat to the security of the country.

Terrorists sent secret messages in Jammu and Kashmir through this Messenger mobile application. Terrorists have been using these Messenger mobile applications to communicate with their supporters and on ground workers. That is why these apps have been banned.

Pakistani applications banned by the central government are Beechat, Cryptovisor, Inigna, Safeswich, Vikrame, Mediafire, Brier, Nandbox, Konyan, Emo, Element, Second Line and Jangi and Threema.
