Guwahati; The Konyak Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), as they have entered the fourth day of its ‘Week of Mourning” on Friday have condemned the military intelligence agency(s) for deliberately misinforming the Central Government and misrepresenting facts about the particular incident of the December 4 Oting massacre.
A joint statement from the KU, KSU, and KNSK demanded that the Government of India and the state’s Special Investigation Team(SIT) to book persons responsible for the massacre and award befitting punishment.
Furthermore, the organizations urged the SIT to do fair and free investigation and present its report before December 25 and also invited the media to the press conference to be held on Saturday at 12 noon.
