Guwahati: A fire broke out at a house in Kahilipara area of Guwahati on Saturday morning.
The incident was reported in a residence in Jotia that was close to a petrol pump.
According to reports, at least three cylinders also exploded as a result of the fire which further deepened the crisis.
Reportedly, the fire completely destroyed a portion of the house and the origin of the fire has not yet been determined.
Fire tenders arrived on the site shortly after and after battling for an hour and were able to put out the unprecedented fire.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported, reports claimed.
