Guwahati: In the midst of a massive scandal growing over leaked videos of female students, Chandigarh University on Sunday refuted all charges and said that no “objectionable film was made of any student.”
According to the university, the girl simply recorded a private video that she shared with her lover. They said that the girl had been arrested.
The university’s statement was released in response to accusations that the girl’s phone had 60 indecent video footage of other pupils.
In a public statement, Chandigarh University Pro-Chancellor R. S. Bawa declared that, “All the rumors of objectionable videos shot of other girl students are totally false and baseless.”
