Guwahati: Chartsheet filed against the IPS officer from Assam Rounak Ali Hazarika by the Chief minister Vigilance cell.
Rounak was arrested on charges of owning assets disproportionate to his known sources of income
It may be mentioned that Hazarika was previously suspended for taking multiple trips abroad without ministry permission from the government and was later arrested by the CM Vigilance sale on October 5.
According to a statement from the superintendent of police CM’s Vigilance Cell, an investigation revealed that Rounak Ali Hazarika was in a position of assets 210 percent over his known source of income, and a 156 piece down sheet has been filed before the relevant court in this connection under several sections.
