Giri is no stranger to global accolades, having previously made significant waves in April 2024. During that period, he garnered widespread attention by securing two gold medals at the Para Shooting World Cup, also held in Changwon, South Korea. His commanding performance then saw him dominate both the men’s 10m air pistol SH1 individual and team events, marking him as a formidable force in the sport.

Currently, Sanjeev Kumar Giri holds an impressive sixth position globally in the P1-Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 category, according to the Official World Shooting Para Rankings 2025, a testament to his consistent high-level performance and dedication to the sport.
