Chhattisgarh Accident: City Bus Over Turns in Chhattisgarh, 20 Injured and 2 Dead
National Desk, 24 May: As many as 20 people were injured and two others were dead after a bus they were travelling in overturned in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, the incident was recorded at Raigarh district’s Gharghoda-Charbhata turn. Two people died on spot when the bus that was involved in the accident crashed while travelling from Lailunga to Raigarh.
A group of Gharghoda police arrived on the scene shortly after learning of the accident and took the injured patients to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The police were quoted by ANI saying, “Two of the passengers were killed, while 20 others are injured in the incident. The condition of 7 of those injured in the accident is critical. All of them have been shifted to Raigarh Medical College for treatment.”

Earlier, as many as 26 people including 23 students were injured in a tragic bus accident in East Sikkim district.
As per reports, the bus carrying them overturned in Singbel on the outskirts of Makha in east Sikkim district, about 40 km from the state capital Gangtok.
According to the reports, 23 students were among the injured people. Additionally,the condition of three people is very serious.
Singtam District Hospital referred a total of 12 critically injured patients to STNM Hospital/CRH Tadong for further treatment.
