Guwahati, 10th October: In a recent operation, at least 11 child labourers were rescued from multiple business establishments located in Guwahati’s Maligaon and Pandu areas. The operation was conducted by the District Task Force in collaboration with Jalukbari Police.
The rescue operation uncovered child labourers who had been working in various commercial establishments for extended periods, receiving minimal wages for their labor. The authorities took action to remove these children from exploitative work conditions and ensure their well-being.
