CM Sarma claims Assam will be the next Kashmir

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has “sought” help from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) to save Hindus from “Violence” by members of a particular majority living in remote areas.

As per a report in the Times of India, Sarma who went to Barak Valley for a two-day tour visited the RSS Cachar district organizational headquarters, Keshav Niketan in Silchar.

During the meeting at the Keshav Niketan CM said that Assam is going to be the next Kashmir because of the aggression of a small group of people. He also said that because of this, the Satras are in great danger. “At the same time, due to massive violence, Hindus living in the tea region and far-flung border districts of the state are on the edge of extinction”, he added.

He further urged the RSS members to go to the areas and consolidate Hindus in order to save institutions from danger.
