Coachella Unveils 2025 Set Times, Announces Surprise Additions

Entertainment: Music enthusiasts planning their pilgrimage to the Empire Polo Club can now meticulously chart their Coachella experience as the festival organizers have officially released the complete set times for both weekends of the highly anticipated 2025 edition. The detailed schedule provides a comprehensive roadmap through the star-studded lineup set to ignite the desert landscape this April.

Adding an unexpected twist to the already buzzing anticipation, the festival has confirmed the inclusion of two major acts to the roster: acclaimed singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and iconic rock band Weezer. However, fans hoping for a Saturday super-show featuring both will need to adjust their plans, as the artists are slated to perform on separate Saturdays.

Weezer is scheduled to bring their signature sound to the Mojave stage on April 12th at 3:10 PM, delivering a 45-minute set of their beloved hits. The following Saturday, April 19th, Ed Sheeran will grace the same Mojave stage at 3:00 PM, treating the Coachella crowd to a full hour of his chart-topping anthems. The early afternoon slots for these widely popular artists have sparked some discussion among festivalgoers, though it aligns with Coachella’s strategy of distributing prominent acts throughout the day’s programming.

The coveted headlining slots for the festival weekends have also been firmly established. Punk rock legends Green Day will command the stage on both Saturday nights, delivering their high-energy performance from 9:05 PM to 10:45 PM, leading into Travis Scott’s midnight sets. Friday nights will be headlined by the electrifying Lady Gaga, who is set to captivate the audience starting at 11:10 PM. Closing out the festival on Sunday nights will be the genre-bending Post Malone, scheduled to take the stage at 10:25 PM.

Beyond the headliners and surprise additions, the Coachella lineup boasts a rich tapestry of musical talent spanning diverse genres and generations. Friday’s schedule is packed with performances from the likes of Missy Elliott, Lisa, FKA Twigs, GloRilla, Benson Boone, The Go-Go’s, and Three 6 Mafia. Saturday’s offerings include sets from Charli XCX, Anitta, Misfits, T-Pain, the LA Philharmonic, Jimmy Eat World, and even a nostalgic appearance by Yo Gabba Gabba!. Sunday will see Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Jennie, Shaboozey, and Ty Dolla $ign entertain the crowds in the lead-up to Post Malone’s grand finale.

While each weekend will feature its own unique flavor and set of supporting acts, the headliners remain consistent across both, ensuring a spectacular culmination to each day. The eclectic mix of artists is anticipated to draw a broad spectrum of music lovers, from longtime devotees eager to catch Weezer’s set to those looking forward to seeing Ed Sheeran before his scheduled European tour later in the year. With the set times now public, the countdown to Coachella 2025 has officially intensified.
