Remaining mortals of brave Colonel Santosh Babu and other 19 Army Personnel were cremated today with a air of grief & sorrow. The body of Colonel Santosh Babu was cremated in his agriculture farm at Kesaram village of Telangana’s Suryapet district on Thursday. When the last rites of Colonel Babu was on pace ” Colonel Santosh Amar Rahe (long live Santosh Babu)” were chanted. Army Jawans from 16 Bihar Regiment gave a gun salute to the departed army official.
Political leaders came in huge numbers to pay tribute & homage to the brave Colonel Babu. Nalgonda MP Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, former MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy, state minister for power G Jagadish Reddy and many high level officials were also present. Not only leaders, general public in huge numbers came in to pay homage to the departed soul and each of them were seen in extreme distress & sorrow.
