Comedian Raju Srivastava Gained Consciousness After 15 Days
Guwahati: Comedian Raju Srivastava who has spent the past 15 days in the ICU after experiencing a heart arrest, regained consciousness on Thursday.
“After 15 days, Raju Srivastava regained consciousness today. At AIIMS Delhi, doctors are keeping an eye on him, ” said Garvit Narang, personal secretary of the actor as reported by ANI.
Raju Srivastava had been admitted to a Delhi hospital on August 10 after he suffered a heart attack. He was experiencing chest pain and collapsed while working out at the gym.
Raju’s personal secretary in a statement stated, “Raju’s health condition is improving.”
The 58-year-old reported experiencing chest pain while exercising on a treadmill. He underwent an angioplasty the same day.
Raju’s younger brother had earlier released a video message with information regarding his brother’s condition.
In the video, he thanked the viewers for their prayers for Raju’s health, and he also shot off absurd rumours about Raju’s condition.
In a video message, Deepu Srivastava also referred to Raju as a fighter. He is a fighter, and after the conflict is over, he will return victorious and amuse everyone with his comedy.
