Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Hiked

Guwahati: Commercial liquid petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder prices nationwide increased by Rs 25 on the first day of the new year.

LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs 25 by Oil Marketing Companies on Sunday with immediate effect. Nevertheless, domestic LPG costs remain the same.

A 19 kg commercial cylinder will cost Rs 1,769 with this.

Cylinders are now priced at Rs. 1768 in Delhi, Rs. 1721 in Mumbai, Rs. 1870 in Kolkata and Rs. 1917 in Chennai or Rs. 1917 per cylinder.

According to oil marketing companies, the last time domestic cylinder prices increased was on July 6, 2022. Overall, it was raised to Rs 153.5. Four price increases were made. OMCs increased by Rs 50 for the first time in March 2022 and then by Rs 50 and Rs 3.50 once more in May. In July of last year, it raised the cost of household cylinders by Rs 50.

Commercial LPG gas cylinder costs were already decreased by Rs 115 per unit in November.
