Guwahati: One-day training on communication was held by the department of pain and palliative medicine at the State Cancer Institute, GMC in Guwahati, Assam on September 13, 2022.
The language of leadership is the skill of communication. About 50 people, including doctors, nurses, and volunteers from different city organisations, attended the training.
The attendees were welcomed by Dr. B.C. Goswami, Director SCI, Guwahati, who was followed by a series of academic talks on various facets of communication. The authors are Drs. Dinesh Goswami, Arun Deka, Dipankar Dakua, Nivedita Upamanyu, Shantana Das, Mrinal Dev Choudhury, Priyakshi Borkakoty, and Kaberi.
Following the conclusion of this academic lecture, participants and faculty members participated in a role play. The vote of gratitude was given by Dr. Devajit Choudhury (superintendent, SCI), who also gave the participants their diplomas.
