The Sikkim Government has announced complete lockdown only in GMC area from 21 to 27 September. However there will be no restrictions on inter State movement from 10th October. Hotels, homestay and other tourism related industry allowed to operate from 10th October.
The Sikkim Government has imposed a complete lockdown in Gangtok area due to growing number of COVID-19 cases in the capital and an effort to contain it. However all essentials services will be given a free hand and no lockdown rules will be implemented on essential activities.
