Congress Alleges Serious Charges Against Newly Elected MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav

National Desk, 12th December: A day after Mohan Yadav’s election as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, the Congress has accused the BJP of serious allegations against him, including “large-scale manipulation” in the Ujjain Master Plan.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, in a post on X, made serious allegations against Yadav, stating, “Eight days after the election results, BJP elected the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, a person against whom there are many serious allegations, including large-scale manipulation in the Ujjain Master Plan.”

Ramesh further alleged that the state government altered the land-use pattern in the Ujjain Master Plan to favor Yadav.

Ahead of the assembly polls in November, the Congress had claimed changes to land reserved for Simhastha Mela, impacting Yadav, his wife, and sister, who reportedly own land in that parcel. A video has surfaced on social media showing Yadav using profanities.

Ramesh referred to the video, saying, “Many of his videos are also viral on social media in which he is seen abusing, threatening, and making objectionable statements. Is this ‘Modi’s guarantee’ for Madhya Pradesh?”

The announcement of Yadav as Chief Minister took many, including BJP leaders, by surprise. Mohan Yadav, an OBC leader and three-time BJP MLA from Ujjain South, previously served as the state’s higher education minister.
