Northeast Desk, 19th March: Former Minister and Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman announced that All India Congress Committee (AICC) leaders, including Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, are expected to visit Tripura to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Barman confirmed that Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge are scheduled to join the campaign efforts in Tripura.
“Elections are scheduled in every state, and we have extended invitations to our star campaigners. We have also submitted a list of star campaigners. We are certain that Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi will be coming for campaigning. Their visit is imminent. I will be traveling to New Delhi to hold discussions with them,” Barman informed reporters.
