Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi: Uttar Pradesh Voting Indicates Rejection of Narendra Modi
Guwahati, 8th June: Congress’s newly elected Member of Parliament from Jorhat, Gaurav Gogoi, has made significant remarks regarding the voting patterns in Uttar Pradesh, suggesting a rejection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the electorate.
Gogoi emphasized that the margin of victory in Raebareli, a stronghold of the Congress party, exceeded that in Varanasi, Prime Minister Modi’s constituency. This, according to Gogoi, indicates a clear rejection of Modi by the people of Uttar Pradesh.
“Looking at the voting trends in Uttar Pradesh, it’s evident that people have rejected Narendra Modi,” Gogoi stated confidently. “The margin of victory in Raebareli is greater than that in Varanasi,” he added, underscoring the significance of this difference.
Gogoi went on to express his belief that Narendra Modi will not serve as Prime Minister for the next five years, reflecting his interpretation of the electoral dynamics in Uttar Pradesh.
The statement from Gaurav Gogoi comes amid ongoing political discourse surrounding the recent Lok Sabha elections and their implications for the future of Indian politics.
