Agartala: The Indian National Congress has unveiled a series of new state-level appointments, aiming to bolster its organisational framework in Tripura, Meghalaya, and Odisha. In Tripura, Sanjoy Das will now lead the Fishermen Congress Department, while Malin Sadhan Jamatia takes charge of the Ex-Servicemen Department. Meghalaya’s Social Media Department has undergone a significant leadership change, with Lang Kapur War appointed as Chairman and Cuthbert Sohtun as Co-Chairman. Odisha has also seen a key appointment, with Lalatendu Satpathy named Chairman of the state’s Social Media Department. This move highlights the Congress party’s determination to enhance its digital engagement and connect with voters in the eastern region.
