National Desk, 6th January: The Congress party revealed the logo and slogan for the upcoming ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra,’ led by Rahul Gandhi. The unveiling ceremony, attended by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Jairam Ramesh, and KC Venugopal, took place at the All India Congress Committee headquarters in Delhi.
The Yatra’s slogan, “Nyay ka haq milne tak,” reflects the party’s commitment to providing economic, social, and political justice under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. Kharge emphasized the significance of this initiative, targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not addressing issues like ethnic violence in Manipur.
Kharge explained the party’s motivation behind the Yatra, stating it is a strong step towards ensuring justice for the people. He highlighted the challenges faced in Parliament, expressing frustration over the suspension of 146 MPs, a historic move. He criticized Modi for not actively engaging in discussions in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is scheduled to commence from Imphal on January 14, covering a distance of 6,713 kilometers. The journey will traverse 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, 337 assembly segments, and 110 districts before concluding in Mumbai on March 20 or 21.
