The Incharge Dzongu, Ms Chungkipo Lepcha informed that the government will look into the matter earliest so that no people will suffer anymore. She also said the the immediate alternative will be given to the construction of foot suspension bridge.
One of the affected villagers from Tingvong village, Ongda Lepcha highlighted about how the people are going through this plight. He further appealed that a doctor and some paramedical staff be recruited at Tingvong PHC as it is not possible for the patient to take to Mangan during medical emergency. The incessant rain also blocked Mangan-Chungthang road at two places which will take atleast two three days to reopen.
