Controversial APS Officer Linked to APSC Scam Given New Position at NIA
Guwahati, 21st August: Controversial APS officer Rumir Timungpi, who was embroiled in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) scam, has reportedly been appointed to a new role within the National Investigation Agency (NIA), raising eyebrows and igniting discussions.
According to reliable reports, Timungpi, a figure mired in controversy, has been designated as the additional superintendent of police (ASP) within the NIA.
It’s worth noting that Timungpi’s name surfaced in connection with the sprawling recruitment scandal that rocked Assam, implicating numerous individuals.
