Guwahati: Assam police had launched a special operation to secure the hold over the runner and sellers of illegitimate liquor in Duliajan district on Saturday.
According to reports, definite unprincipled elements take advantage of the closure of authorised liquor merchandise and indulge in illegal trade and preparation of desi / illegal/ fake liquor.
Thus, to rule out such possibility, the official launched a massive crackdown to excavate such unlawful liquor trade in town.
