Cost of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder reduced by Rs 135

Guwahati: The Oil Marketing Companies announced that the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder would be reduced on Wednesday.

The 19-kg commercial cylinder will be Rs 135 cheaper from today. In Delhi, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will cost Rs 2,219 instead of Rs 2,354 every bottle, while in Kolkata, it will cost Rs 2,322 instead of Rs 2,454, in Mumbai, Rs 2,171.50 instead of Rs 2,306, and in Chennai, Rs 2,373 instead of Rs 2,507 per bottle.

The prices of both domestic and commercial LPG cylinder rates were raised in the country on May 19. This was the second time in a month that the cooking prices had been raised. The price of a 14 kg home cylinder has increased by Rs 3.50, while the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has climbed by Rs 8.

It was widely assumed that oil marketing organisations will announce a price change for LPG today (June 1). This year has seen an increase in international oil prices, which has recently been reflected in the pricing of gasoline, diesel, ATF, and LPG. In light of the recent increase in worldwide oil prices, it has been suggested that LPG prices may be increased beginning today, however no official confirmation has been given.

LPG price changes are announced by OMCs twice a month, first at the start of the month and again in the middle of the month.
