Counting of votes begins on 542 Lok Sabha seats

National Desk, 4th June: As the Election Commission begins the vote count for 542 Lok Sabha constituencies, citizens across the nation are eagerly anticipating the results that will determine the next government at the Centre.

Voters have multiple options to stay updated on the developments in their constituencies. One primary method is through the official Election Commission website, results.eci.gov.in, which provides real-time updates on the 2024 Lok Sabha election results for each constituency.

To access this information:

  1. Visit the official results website of the EC – results.eci.gov.in.
  2. Click on “General Election Results.”
  3. Select your state and check your constituency.
  4. The website will display the leading and trailing candidates, along with the vote count for each candidate in your constituency.

In addition to the official Election Commission website, counting trends and results, based on data entered by Returning Officers/Assistant Returning Officers of each Lok Sabha constituency, will be available on the voter helpline app. This app can be downloaded from various app stores.

The app allows users to filter results, identify winning and losing candidates, and view constituency and state-wise outcomes. This comprehensive approach ensures that voters remain engaged and well-informed throughout the election process.
