Guwahati: India reported 6,422 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare the total number of active cases is down to 46,389.
A total of 3,14,692 tests were completed in the last 24 hours, resulting in the discovery of the new cases, bringing the overall total to 89.06 crores.
The total number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in India has now reached 5,28,250.
In addition, 5,748 Covid-19 recoveries in India were noted in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,39,41,840.
Notably, the percentage of active cases is currently 0.10 and the healing rate is 98.71%. The weekly positivity rate is 1.71 percent, while the daily positivity rate is 2.04%.
With 31,09,550 doses provided in the past 24 hours as part of the national immunisation effort, the nation has now received 215.98 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
