Guwahati: India reported 5,910 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) informed, the country’s active caseload is down to 53,974.
A total of 2,27,313 tests were completed in the last 24 hours, resulting in the discovery of the new cases, bringing the overall total to 88.73 crores.
Reportedly, the total number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in India has now reached to 5,28,007.
Additionally, 7,034 recoveries from Covid-19 in India were noted in the previous day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,38,80,464.
Notably, the current recovery rate is 98.69%, and the percentage of active cases is 0.12%. Weekly positivity is 2.15 percent, while the daily positivity rate is 2.60 percent.
A total of 213.52 crore vaccine doses have been delivered in the country for the Covid-19 vaccine, with 32,31,895 doses being given in the last day as part of the widespread vaccination campaign.
