This announcement comes just days after Rodriguez shared a series of photos on Instagram, sparking rumours of an engagement. The pictures showed the couple hosting a lavish Friendship Day celebration with close friends, leading many to believe that a bigger celebration was on the cards.
The 40-year-old football icon, who currently plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr, seems to be celebrating both on and off the field. He recently guided Portugal to a UEFA Nations League title, defeating Spain in the final, and shows no signs of slowing down. With over 930 goals to his name, Ronaldo is now eyeing the incredible 1,000-goal mark.
