Guwahati: Jeremy Lalrinnunga, one of India’s youngest athletes competing for the Commonwealth Games in 2022, first gained attention when he became the first representative of his nation to win a gold medal at the Youth Olympics in 2018.
On July 31, he repeated his performance from the Commonwealth Games 2022, winning the gold medal in the men’s 67kg division.
In recent years, Jeremy has distinguished himself on both national and international levels. The 19-year-old helped India win five medals, including a second gold at the CWG 2022.
