DC Conference: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Attends DC Conference in Tinsukia
Guwahati, 16 May: Assam CM Himanta biswa Sarma was present at the convention hall at the Galapokhari bypass on the second day of the three-day District Deputy Commissioners Conference (DC Conference) which began in Tinsukia on May 15.
Earlier, Assam CM inaugurated the Convention Centre and then the chief minister went to a meeting with the district deputy commissioners.
CM said, “The state government have started the three-day DC conference wherein all the DC were divided into 5 groups headed by a minister.”
The chief minister added that the conference which started from 10 AM to 9 PM wherein the DCs prepare a presentation for the minister and another chief secretary.
According to Himnata Biswa Srama, the presentation’s results will be addressed today May 16 and the state and federal governments will also talk about the 12 flagship programmes on May 17.
It should be noted that these DC conferences are held in the state every six months and the next one will be in North Lakhimpur.
All Assam SP Conference which is conducted every six months will take place in Bongaigaon in June 2023, followed by a combined gathering in Guwahati.
State Ministers Ajanta Neog, Ranjit Kumar Dass, Atul Bora, Keshab Mahanta, Bimal Bora, Jayanta Malla Baruah, Sanjoy Kishan, Parimal Shukla Baidya and Chandra Mohan Patowary were in attendance, as well as a number of Assam Ministers, administrative officers and District Deputy Commissioners.
