Guwahati, Assam – The National Scholarship Portal has extended the application deadline for the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships aimed at Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in Assam.
Students now have until November 15, 2024, to submit their applications online, offering additional time for eligible students and families to complete the process.
The scholarships, applicable for Pre-Matric students in Classes IX and X as well as for Post-Matric students, aim to support ST students from families with an annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh. Eligible applicants can now use this extension to ensure they benefit from these educational support funds.
Additionally, the verification process deadline for Institute Nodal Officers has been extended to November 30, 2024. Students and educational institutions are encouraged to complete applications and verifications promptly within the extended timeline.
