The Defence Acquisition Council has approved the capital acquisition proposals worth ₹13,700 crore for the armed forces on Tuesday. According to the defence ministry “Three Acceptance of Necessities (AoNs) for an overall cost of ₹13,700 crores were accorded.
All these AoNs are in the highest priority category of Defence Acquisition,” a DAC statement stated. Acquisitions includes weapons, platforms and systems for the three armed forces.
