Guwahati: At least four people were injured and several others were feared trapped after an unfinished four-story building collapsed in Delhi’s Azad Market area, on Friday.
According to reports, construction was still going on when the building unexpectedly fell at around 8.50 am today.
Initial reports indicated that the incident harmed four construction workers who were working as labourers.
Reportedly, five more people are buried beneath the wreckage and debris.
Meantime, officials have been told that rescue operations have begun and efforts are on to free individuals those who are trapped.
They noted that four fire tenders had also been dispatched to the scene.
The DCP of Delhi stated that on the surface that, the building collapsed because the foundation could not support the weight.
