Delhi Capitals Captain Shreyas Iyer has been fined for maintaining a slow-over rate in their last IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi. Iyer was fined under IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to maintaining slow-over rate offence, the Delhi Capitals captain was fined Rs 12 Lakh for his misconduct.
Earlier Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli was also too charged for maintaining a slow-over rate against Kings XI Punjab. The Indian captain and star batsman, was also charged the same amount of Rs 12 lakh.
