Delhi CM announces “Delhi Shopping Festival” with heavy discounts; check dates, other details here
Guwahati: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Wednesday that the Delhi Government will host the “Delhi Shopping Festival” in Delhi from January 28 through February 26, 2023.
Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, claimed when the Delhi Shopping Festival was first announced that the city would “look like a bride.”
The Chief Minister announced that 200 performances featuring performers from India and around the world will take place in addition to a unique opening and closing ceremony.
The chief minister continued by saying that shoppers will have a wide range of options. The event would be the grandest India has ever seen, he continued, and the entire city of Delhi will be made beautiful.
The Delhi government is organising a 30-day festival when visitors from all over the world will be invited to experience Delhi’s culture, essence, and shopping.
Speaking on Delhi’s culinary scene, he added that because the city is recognised for its variety of cuisines, “Delhi food walks” would be organised and all of India’s cuisines would be offered.
The CM also mentioned that special travel arrangements would be made for visitors arriving from outside the country. Arvind Kejriwal stated, “We are in discussions with hotels, travel agencies, transportation providers, and airlines to offer special transit packages.
The Chief Minister argued that this will create many jobs and urged Delhi residents to prepare for hosting such a significant event.
