Guwahati: The commute on a rail line was hampered by a goods rail that derailed on the Delhi-Howrah route close to Fatehpur on Sunday.
The accident happened around 10.30 am when the train was downtracking at Ramwan station, close to Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh.
Seven coaches of this goods train piled on top of one another when the accident happened, disrupting both the uphill and downward tracks.
The engineers anticipate that everything will be back to normal at the train route by evening.
