Delhi man arrested for pirating NCERT books
Guwahati: A 38-year-old man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in printing pirated National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) books in Delhi.
According to reports, the accused identified as Manoj Jain was publishing pirated books of different subjects for class VI to XII.
Jain has been publishing the books at lower prices, causing NCERT to lose a significant amount of money.
Reports claimed that Jain is a college dropout who started his own printing press named “Mela Ram Farms” since 2020 at the trans-Yamuna area in Delhi.
It may be mentioned that a large number of pirated books and NCERT printing materials worth Rs 35lakh were recovered from him.
