Delhi school receives bomb threat in e-mail

Guwahati: Panic gripped on Monday after an email containing a bomb threat was sent to a school in south Delhi.

According to Delhi Police, a bomb threat was received via email at 1:19 pm in the Defence Colony police station’s jurisdiction on the official email ID of Indian Public School, Sadiq Nagar, BRT road.

The local police were contacted right away by the school administration. Soon after, members of the bomb squad, the dog squad, and the Delhi Police arrived on the scene. A comprehensive search was conducted after the school was evacuated. However, no explosive has been located.

Meanwhile, the cyber team of Delhi Police is verifying the email.
