DHSK College in Assam Goes Fully Digital
Guwahati: DHSK College in Dibrugarh district of Assam has been entirely digitalized marking a first for the nation and a step toward Digital India.
The college’s elections, teaching and attendance have all been digitalized as a result.
It should be noted that the college implemented digital classrooms in 2016. Starting this year, all aspects of the election, including filing for nominations were done online.
Teachers praised the administrators for overseeing the introduction of the digital platform and expressed their satisfaction at being a member of the college.
The online voting process was successful; roughly 70–80% of the votes were cast.
The recently implemented online attendance system has also proven to be quite effective and hassle-free. After a code is generated and is active for three seconds, the attendance is taken.
Meanwhile, college students have also voiced their joy at participating in the digital revolution. They claimed that the online attendance system is a time-saving and effective method.
Additionally, the students believed that digitization will extend to all educational institutions in the nation.
