Dhula Minor Death Case: CID Summons Executive Magistrate
Guwahati: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has called the Executive Magistrate of the Dalgaon Revenue Circle in Darrang district of Assam in connection with the Dhula child death case.
The executive magistrate has been identified as Ashirbad Hazarika .
He has been asked to appear before the CID investigating officer on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
According to reports, Hazarika had stated the minor girl’s death as a result of suicide without him being present at the spot when the incident had occurred.
Hazarika has been escaping since his name was mentioned in the inquiry. As a result, he has been told to show up in front of the CID investigating officer today.
The unnatural death of a 13-year-old girl in Dhula has drawn attention and three doctors have been arrested in connection with the case.
The doctors that were arrested work for the Mangaldoi Civil Hospital and are Drs. Arun Ch. Deka, Ajanta Bordoloi and Anupam Sharma. All three doctors have been arrested for fabricating the death of the young girl as suicide.
