The total number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in India has now reached 5, 28,057.
Moreover, 7,094 recoveries from Covid-19 in India were recorded in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 4,38,93,590.

With 18,81,319 doses provided in the past 24 hours as part of the statewide vaccination effort, the nation has now received 213.91 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
