Diwali Celebration At Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute
Guwahati: Earthen lamps and lights are used to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, throughout the concrete metropolis of Guwahati.
Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute’s patients and employees also took part in the festivities on Monday.
They chose to celebrate during the day by igniting sparklers and clay lamps due to the patients’ inability to attend the celebration in the evening.
Additionally, roughly 500 patients and staff members received sweets.
One of the most well-known holidays in India is Diwali. Many earthen lamps were burned to greet Lord Rama when he supposedly returned to his kingdom of Ayodhya after a fourteen-year exile.
Various offices, residential houses and apartments are decorated with lights across Assam.
