Guwahati: Three doctors from a hospital have been arrested by Mangaldai police on Monday for allegedly providing a forged post-mortem report.
The three arrested persons have been identified as Dr Arun Deka, Dr Anupam Sharma and Dr Ajanta Bordoloi.
The hospital in question is Mangalai Civil Hospital.
According to reports, the trio presented a fictitious post-mortem report for a dead adivasi woman.
It turns out that the medicine department signed the post-mortem report when the forensic department was supposed to have done so.
Further investigation is on.
