Guwahati, 26th December: A tumultuous situation unfolded at a Guwahati guest house on Monday night, reportedly incited by a group of intoxicated youths.
According to accounts from local residents, the youths created a disturbance until midnight, causing disruptions to the tranquility of the entire area. Reports indicated that the group breached guest house regulations by surpassing the occupancy limit. The local community expressed dissatisfaction with the perceived inadequacy of the police response to the situation.
Despite filing a complaint, locals conveyed a sense of unaddressed concerns. In a demonstration of their discontent, they encircled a police vehicle in protest, highlighting their frustration with how the police managed the situation.
