Duyir Ete Shines at Miss Global World 2024, Secures 2nd Runner-up and Miss Super Model Titles
Northeast Desk, 15th September: Duyir Ete from Arunachal Pradesh has garnered international acclaim by clinching the 2nd Runner-up position and the title of Miss Super Model at the Miss Global World 2024 pageant held in Dubai on September 14. The grand finale saw 37 contestants from around the world compete for the prestigious titles.
Ete’s standout moment came during the Q&A segment, where her eloquent response on the importance of girls’ education played a pivotal role in her success. Addressing the impact of educating girls on societal stereotypes, Ete stated:
“The education of the girl child is undeniably vital, serving as a powerful catalyst for dismantling entrenched societal stereotypes. The pageant crowned Tomoko Hemmi from Japan as the winner, with Narmin Isayeva of Azerbaijan as the 1st Runner-up. Ete’s dual achievement has sparked celebrations across India, especially in her home state of Arunachal Pradesh.
