Itanagar: Air Marshal Surat Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Air Command (EAC), today held a crucial meeting with Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik at Raj Bhavan, focusing on a range of strategic and developmental concerns vital to the frontier state.

The discussions, which took place on Monday according to an official statement released today, encompassed national security, regional defence readiness, and the critical issue of disaster management, especially given Arunachal Pradesh’s challenging topography and heightened susceptibility to natural calamities during the monsoon.
