Guwahati: The East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Dispur Police Station has successfully solved a theft case, apprehending a 28-year-old suspect in connection with the crime.
The accused, identified as Hingleiwang Kuane, a resident of the Tamenglong district of Manipur, was arrested following a thorough investigation.
The authorities have confirmed that all four stolen batteries have been recovered from the suspect’s possession. The Assam Police have initiated legal proceedings against the accused.
Further investigation is currently underway to determine whether the arrested individual is linked to any larger network of thieves.
