Imphal: Eight Manipur police personnel were recognized for their exemplary service on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day of India.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID (SB), Sorokhaibam Rudranarayan Singh, was awarded the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service.
Seven other officers, including Laishram Chaoba Singh, Inspector, CID (SB), and Naorem Seilendra Singh, Jemadar, 1st IRB, were bestowed with the Medal for Meritorious Service.
The awards acknowledge the officers’ dedication to maintaining law and order in the state, particularly amidst recent conflicts.
